Scholarships

MPI offers scholarships which are available at both the local level, and at the global level through the MPI Foundation.

Meeting Planner Scholarship

The MPIMP Scholarship for Meeting Professionals was created by MPIMP to help increase membership of meeting professionals, as well as offer opportunities for those responsible for planning meetings and events. If your employer does not cover the cost of MPIMP membership or if you are financially unable to join MPIMP at this time, consider submitting for a chapter scholarship.

The MPI Foundation periodically offers new and renewing planner member scholarships. If a MPI Foundation membership scholarship is available, please submit a scholarship application with the MPI Foundation prior to submitting a scholarship application with the chapter.

MPIMP is not accepting scholarship applications at this time. Please visit the MPI Foundation website for a list of their current scholarships.

Student Scholarship

The MPIMP Scholarship for Students was created to encourage students to become engaged with professionals within the meeting planning industry and opportunities that MPI can offer them. This scholarship will pay for a one year membership in the Meeting Professionals International Middle Pennsylvania Chapter.

MPI Foundation Scholarships

The MPI Foundation is a non-profit organization that celebrated 40 years in 2024 as the leading meeting and event industry foundation devoted to funding grants, scholarships, and pan-industry research for the people who need it most.
