#MPIWI

Join us in Green Bay, WI at the beautiful Legacy Hotel for an inspiring day of collaboration that will reshape how you approach your events and work with your team and partners.

Prior to all the education, join us on Wednesday evening, May 14 for an exciting evening filled with unique experiences. Begin with a private tour of Lambeau Field—a true highlight for any sports fan. Departing from the Legacy Hotel Lobby, the tour will be guided by members of the Green Bay Packers staff, providing you with an exclusive inside look at the legendary Lambeau Field. After the tour, the fun continues back at the hotel with appetizers, beverages, and a private mixology class! You’ll have the opportunity to join master mixologist Tony Oczus for a Cocktail 101 class, where attendees will create and enjoy two signature cocktails. Plus, you'll leave with a drink to take home! It’s an evening designed to entertain, educate, and offer great networking opportunities.

The next day, our featured speaker is Pat Cavanaugh with Jadin Jones. Pat’s presentation, Building Growth and Performance through Communication and Trust, will highlight the essential skills needed to thrive amidst the challenges we face in event planning. Successful events are built on strong communication and trust – something all of us, as planners and suppliers, can relate to. Think about those times when a lack of communication or trust led to increased costs and more time spent troubleshooting. Pat’s workshop will demonstrate how the best event planners, hosts, and vendors lead by design, not default. They excel as communicators and master trust-builders. This session will provide you with actionable strategies to enhance your communication and trust-building skills with the key stakeholders of your events, ultimately improving outcomes and strengthening relationships.

This May program is an unmissable opportunity to learn, grow, and connect, and we look forward to welcoming you to the Legacy Hotel in Green Bay for a day of inspiration, fun, and practical takeaways!

As part of our visit to Green Bay, we will be collecting items for Paul's Pantry. Paul’s Pantry was started as a result of a need to care for hungry people in the community who are unable to purchase enough food for their family as a result of their meager or no incomes.   Click here to view the list of needed items at Paul's Pantry.

Communication and Trust-Building: The Foundation for Successful Events

Successful events are built on communication and trust.  As planners and suppliers, we can all think of a time when a lack of communication and trust cost us and our clients more time and money to pull off a successful event.  Maybe it doesn’t have to be that hard. The best event planners, hosts, and vendors lead by design not default.  They are also incredible communicators and elite trust-builders. This workshop will provide actionable ways to improve your communication and trust-building with the stakeholders of your events.

    Attendees will learn:

    1. Actionable trust-building tactics to use with staff and clients
    2. Listening and Communication strategies to enhance the service and experience of events
    3. Creative and strategic ways to turn moments into memories for your staff and clients
