Starting and Surviving the First Years of Your New Business

We all know someone, including ourselves, whose career has been impacted by the global pandemic. But while it may feel like a painful experience, the loss of a job may sometimes act as a catalyst in our decision to make a professional change, acquire additional skills, advance existing skills or learn a new specialization. As an independent or small business owner, getting the support you need to achieve your short- or long-term goals can make all the difference.

Presented by Nick Reid, a chief puzzle-solver and an Independent & Small Business Owners (ISBO) community member, this exclusive, chapter-tailored education program will not only address relevant topics such as finances, service promotions, risk management and business planning but also encourage the sharing of new ideas that all of us can use.

Whether you’re thinking of starting a new meeting planning business, injecting your existing business with new products or services, altering your current business model or employing new strategies, this session will guide you through the important considerations you can make in planning for future success.
