Event planners with the CMP designation stand out in the crowd. The CMP credential is recognized globally as the badge of excellence in the meeting, convention, exhibition, and event industry. The qualifications for certification are based on professional experience, education, and a rigorous exam.
Since its launch in 1985, the CMP program has set the standard for professionalism in our industry. It’s built on a solid foundation of practical experience, education, and a rigorous exam. The program is maintained by industry professionals who ensure it stays current with best practices.
The CMP certification involves two main steps: submitting an application to confirm your eligibility, followed by a written exam covering key aspects of meeting management. Testing is now available year-round with flexible options, including remote proctoring and in-center testing. To get started, create your account on the EIC website here: https://eic.learningbuilder.com/account/login
