MPI THCC Call For Speakers

Dear Industry Speakers,

The Texas Hill Country Chapter of MPI (MPI THCC) focuses on innovative programs and initiatives that promote the success of its central Texas membership, which is among the reasons we've been named a “Top Performing” MPI chapter. That includes educational events throughout the year, certification programs, mentoring, and two major conferences, Southwest Showcase and the Texas Education Conference.  Collectively, MPI THCC’s nearly 200 planners hold 685 events per year throughout the US and Southwest as the primary region followed closely by Southeast and Northeast. 40% host meetings for 500 attendees or more, 52% are final decision makers or significantly influence purchase decisions and 35% hold the accreditation of Certified Meeting Professionals (CMPs).

As a MPI THCC speaker, you have the opportunity to share your passion, knowledge, skill and expertise to an audience of professional meeting planners (independent, corporate, association) and suppliers (hotel, restaurant, audio/visual, sports/entertainment), many of which hold the designation of CMP. The CMP credential is recognized globally as the badge of excellence in the events industry.

Whether you want to lead a session that offers discussion and collaboration or you want to inspire, this is the Texas Hill Country MPI stage for you.

We are seeking innovative content generally presented in a 60-minute session. This session should challenge all event professionals to broaden their knowledge base, enhance their professional skills, and enhance their future readiness through the lens of these content categories:

Event Innovation (meeting or event design, emerging technology, virtual formats - design and implementation, sustainability)
Risk Management, Best Practices, Standards, Communication Strategies, Safety & Security
Project Management
Financial Management
Human Resources
Site Management
Marketing
Professional Development

Use this portal to tell us about yourself and submit your proposal. Your presentation will be peer reviewed. It will be evaluated based on content, session design and creativity, relevance to the industry, your expertise and the clarity of description of your presentation. Selected speakers will be contacted and given several upcoming available dates to speak.

Thank you for sharing your expertise with our chapter.
