It’s no secret that Texans are known for their warmth, southern charm and genuine hospitality. For when you visit the Lone Star State, you are sure to meet someone like Anne Ledet, CMP, a featured volunteer of the month who just happens to embody all of these qualities. And more.

Upon receiving her CMP, an impressive accomplishment for any event professional, Anne decided to pay it forward. After becoming a member of MPI THCC in 2004, she began sharing her newfound knowledge of the hospitality industry with potential candidates looking to become certified, eventually proctoring a San Antonio-based exam study group.

Anne continued her volunteer work while serving on the nominating and registration committees, gladly giving back to a chapter that has not only presented her with unparalleled educational opportunities but also allowed her to build long-lasting relationships and grow in so many ways.

Anne’s love of travel extends beyond her professional capacity. When she’s not working, cooking or playing with dogs Gus and Lola, she can be found exploring the Texas coast with her family.
