If you ask our Volunteer of the Month Anne Ledet, she’d buy into the saying “a mind is a terrible thing to waste”. She is heavily involved with the CMP process, and feels it is a very important part of our industry’s continued professional education. Anne has been a member of MPI since 2003 and received her CMP in 2004.
Her desire to serve is huge and includes not only being one of the newest members of the MPI THCC board, but also the board of Impact San Antonio, and the Boykin Spaniel Club & Breeders Association of America. You’ll see why in just a bit.
Anne arranges travel for leisure & group business as a member of the Herff Travel, Inc. team. Her future aspirations include arranging travel for herself and, well, just traveling. She has been married to her spicy Cajun husband, Marc, for 11 years. The couple happily resides in San Antonio with their three Boykin Spaniels – Lola, Gus, and Rowdy. This unique breed is the state dog of South Carolina and is also known as the Swamp Poodle…so cute!
Her time is very full – raising three show dogs and volunteering. So, when Anne wants to unwind, she retreats to her happy place; their coastal home where she enjoys fishing, sunsets, and all things outdoors.Anne is a big foodie who loves to bake and learn new cooking techniques. She also collects cookbooks. One of her favorites is “The French Laundry” by Thomas Keller. Yep, you guessed it. He specializes in Cajun Cuisine!
