Time flies when you’re having FUN! MPISSN Board of Directors 2021-2022 was incredible this past year. Covid-19 impacted our community, the chapter and our members, but that did not slow the Board down. This past year we survived together and we succeeded together in many impactful positive ways. A big THANK YOU to our fabulous Board, each of you shared your time, strengths and talents to help our chapter thrive and remain a “Top Performing” chapter at the Global level. Your dedication and commitment created an atmosphere of inclusivity and a sense of family for me and our members.
It's been a BUSY YEAR! This past year the chapter offered our members many opportunities to network and reconnect. Our affiliate members had several opportunities to meet face to face with members, we received new Strategic Alliance Partnerships and were able to showcase several new venues in the Sacramento area.
Education & Networking at its FINEST! The MPISSN Education and Events team was amazing! Bringing you a wealth of education and a chance to get out to see friends and experience new locations for events;
Don’t miss out on the June Annual Gala being held June 16th at the Club at Natomas Park. It might look a little different as we are still trying to meet safely and responsibly – but promises all the fun and laughter, good food and of course noteworthy awards and installation of your new Board of Directors. We are collecting raffle donations and looking for volunteers to assist with the night. Give me a call if you’d like to participate or donate an item!
It’s been an absolute honor serving as the President of our chapter – I would be remiss if I didn’t give a big “shout-out” to our dedicated management team at CORE. Christina Bauders, MPISSN Executive Director, and her staff at CORE have been a pleasure to work with, helping raise the bar of our events and keeping the Board on track. I genuinely appreciate all the attention to detail and professionalism they give to the chapter.
I hope to see you in June as we install your new President, Lauren Siring with Monterey County CVB. She has big plans for the chapter and is already planning her 1st year as President. I can’t wait to cheer her on and watch her succeed!
Stay healthy and see you soon!
