As with anything, you get out of it what you put into it. As a member you are more connected to the meeting planner community and have access to education (including CE credits), development and networking resources only available to members. There are three levels of membership available; Essential, Preferred and Premier. We highly recommend joining at least as a “Preferred” member because you will then be affiliated with and connected to our local chapter. The essential membership is only a general membership with MPI and does not allow you to volunteer with our chapter or provide you discounted rates for attending chapter events. Cost of membership varies based on planner/supplier status as well as the level you join. Find more information here.
Although you are encouraged to attend as often as possible, there are no attendance requirements. Various events are held monthly throughout the year and you are welcome to attend when your schedule allows.
Yes. You can be a member of one chapter and be an “affiliate” member of another. Click here for more information on affiliate memberships.
We strive to provide education that is relevant and beneficial to our members. The events team seeks speakers with content that pertains to current industry challenges based on their experiences and suggestions from our membership. There are also many online resources available through MPI Global. Find more information here.
