The Meeting Professional International (MPI) Sacramento Sierra Nevada Chapter gathered on June 8th at the Capitol Event Center in Downtown Sacramento to celebrate their annual board installation. Comprised of 135 professionals, this vibrant chapter came together for an evening of dinner, networking, bidding, and a captivating mermaid-themed "Shellebration," marking the commencement of another successful year. Lauren Goff was installed as MPISSN’s 2023-2024 President and leads with the inspiring motto "just keep swimming." The annual Board Installation, sworn in by Past President Laura Bohannon, whom also received her 30 year membership pin, is known as one of the chapter's largest gatherings. This event serves as a platform to install the new board members and present annual awards, including Supplier of the Year, Meeting Planner of the Year, Rising Star, Chapter Leader of the Year, and Presidents awards.
Congratulations to our Award Winners:
Lindsay Poss, President’s Award
Skye Menezes, Planner of the Year
Steve Pate-Newberry, Supplier of the Year
Chapter Leader of the Year, Kimber Chavez
Rising Star, Nikki Smith
