Upcoming Algonquin College Fundraising Events

We are thrilled to share that the Event Management Program at Algonquin College of has launched a series of in-person fundraising events this March!

Following the success of previous virtual events, their new intake of students has been trained to organize events that are both engaging and safe in today's landscape.

With different themes and contents, these events promise to deliver new, unique, and unforgettable experiences to attendees. In addition, the students are committed to spreading love and hope and connecting people through these events by donating the proceeds to the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre.

Hockey Trivia Night
Monday, March 20
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Heart & Crown Barrhaven
Tickets: $10 online ($15 at the door)

Inviting hardcore hockey fans and novices to Hockey Trivia night! Wear your favorite hockey jersey and compete in a friendly battle of knowledge to win exciting prizes—bring a portable device that connects to the internet to participate in the trivia portion of the evening. Enjoy classic hockey night hits courtesy of the live DJ.

Bid on incredible items at the silent auction and try your luck with "Fortune Puckies" for another chance to win a prize.

Y2K Trivia Night

Take a trip down memory lane and enjoy a trivia night honoring the glitz and glam of the early 2000s! Specifically Y2K, a time of excitement, uncertainty, and of course, some of the most iconic looks, styles, and music of the 21st century.

Test your knowledge of famous celebrity moments, world events, and icons in our Y2K-themed trivia night. Channel your inner Britney Spears and come dressed in your low-rise jeans, full denim outfits, and lots of layering as we host an evening filled with nostalgia, friendly competition, and laughter.

Instead of your trusty Walkman, your favorite hits will be played all night long by Pulse Entertainment DJ. In addition, our Y2Krew will be offering opportunities to treat yourself to a Y2K makeover and then capturing the moment at our photo booth.
