These include modules for addressing low mood, worry, substance use, social isolation and relationship issues. Not sure what resources are available for Canadians and businesses in the tourism sector impacted by COVID-19? This webpage is a great place to start. The Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) has done an excellent job of outlining the benefits and resources that are available to both businesses and individuals during these unprecedented times.
The Prime Minister has announced more aid for Canadians, including topping up the pay of essential workers and expanding the Canada Emergency Response Benefit allowing more people to qualify. If you had a reduction in hours and earn $1,000 a month or less, you now qualify for the CERB. Workers who have run out of EI benefits recently, or those now losing seasonal work opportunities, will also be able to receive the benefit.
