Who is your company?

Located in Gatineau, Outaouais Tourism was created by and for the industry in 1981. We are a private, not-for-profit organization with a current membership of about 500 businesses. These are mostly small to medium enterprises working in the regional tourism industry and sharing a common objective: to promote the Outaouais region as a prime tourist destination!

Why are you a sponsor for MPI Ottawa?

We love being able to develop new relationships and networking opportunities. Supporting our local chapter helps maintain the strength of our vibrant and interesting community, as well as keeps Outaouais Tourism as a visible and recognized industry partner supporter.

What MPI Chapter events do you sponsor and why?

We support Ottawa Chapter MPI events because we love our region! Specifically:

Prix Prestige Awards Gala: It’s one of the year’s main events, gathering a larger number of our clients.

GMID: This was our first year partnering with GMID. We chose GMID because it tied-in with The EVENT and gave us a chance to do something different and stand out with our dessert station.

Festive Dinner 2017: Because it is a festive occasion fitting with our brand!

What’s your favourite part of those sponsored events?

Great visibility for our destination and an opportunity to network and meet with clients in a festive or special occasion. We hope to stay in the forefront of planner’s minds who haven’t yet held an event in Gatineau and the Outaouais by demonstrating everything we can offer.
