What are you currently working on in your committee?
As I am new to the Director, Marketing role, I am diving in to learning the ropes, and ensuring that we keep the momentum as a top performing chapter from a Marketing and Communications perspective. At a committee level, we are continuing to support our Chapter’s efforts through communications, marketing and community engagement. We are gearing up for a busy Fall, so stay tuned!
What are your committee’s top three goals for this year?
We are looking to continue to focus on social media as an ever-growing content-sharing and engagement tool. This remains a top effort for our team. Watch for us on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram and don’t forget to like and repost!
Our small but mighty Chapter News & Views Team continues to put out great content and articles, highlighting the people and activities taking part in our community.
And of course, engagement and relationship building, as this is a key foundational element to the successes we have experienced in our Chapter. The Communications and Marketing team and subcommittees will continue to focus on maintaining and building engagement within our community, supporting the efforts of our chapter and delivering great community driven content by providing a space to thought share, exchange ideas and connect.
What are the benefits of volunteering with your committee?
The Communications and Marketing portfolio provides a great opportunity to volunteer and contribute at variety of commitment and experience levels. For those looking to hone an existing skill or develop a new set of skills, we encourage you to reach out. We currently have volunteer opportunities content writers and editors, and a LinkedIn lead, to name a few. If you are interested in learning more, please reach out!
