We have heard you loud and clear – let’s go back to having some informal lunch and learn sessions from MPI.

On Wednesday, November 14th, 2018, MPI Education Committee Member Patricia Gougeon has agreed to host a session in a boardoom at the Canadian Construction Association. The session will be led by VP Education Louise Gervais and is complimentary.  So bring your own lunch and gain some valuable information on this ever so important topic!

We are limited to 25 spots – don’t delay registering or you may be disappointed!

Event Emergency Response Plan for the Meeting Professional:
As a meeting event manager, it is important to understand your role should an emergency occur when your organization is hosting the event. While some of the emergencies experienced during an event can be devastating, many are not, but can get out of control, if you are not prepared for it. Event managers need to understand their role and work with the venue to ensure that there is a communication strategy in place.

After attending this lunch and learn, you will:

  • be able to identify potential emergencies that may occur during your event;
  • be able to identify roles and responsibilities of the meeting planner, the host organization and its staff, the venue, and emergency services;
  • be able to identify what to include in the emergency response plan for your events.

Location:
Canadian Construction Association
1900-275 Slater Street Ottawa ON K1P 5H9
