Overview

According to the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals, in 1983 there were no Black CEOs of convention and visitor bureaus. While decades later that number looks marginally better, we still have a long way to go. Our community’s mission is to build a strong foundation to support Black professionals in the meetings and events industry.

Through our international network we are an unlimited resource, a guaranteed connection and an opportunity for growth, to expand the social/professional and academic networks of our members. We aim to provide pathways for professionals at all stages of their careers and to further education and awareness on diversity and inclusion within every facet of the meetings and events profession.
