Welcome to WEC Grapevine!

Welcome to WEC Grapevine!

On behalf of the MPI team and our partners at the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau, we are both proud and honored to have you with us for one of the most pivotal events in the history of the meeting and event industry.

For those of you who were with us last year in Toronto, you will recall that we set the bar high in showcasing innovative new event design concepts, while accepting the risks associated with  breaking new ground. But never in our wildest dreams did we anticipate the challenge that would follow––nor foresee the greatest trial our industry has faced in generations.

Meeting and event professionals are undoubtedly some of the most creative individuals on earth. You strategize, plan, reimagine and solve myriad problems on a daily basis. Your brains are wired to reinvent. Your spirits are born to persevere. And you have proven, even during our world’s most distressing time, that it is not in your DNA to sit back and release control of tour own destiny.

Those who join us today know how to take charge. You have the vision and ingenuity to be the instrument of change and help lead the way toward restoration and transformation in the months ahead. And together, we will show the world how to meet again, safely and effectively.

Through the innovation you have come to expect from MPI, we have created a 100 percent live hybrid event, incorporating the spontaneity of live events through separate and unique designs for both in-person and digital attendees. This state-of-the-art approach will provide exclusive, unique and actionable takeaways for both audiences.

While our duty of care has been heightened and placed face-forward, the content and engagement notable to the WEC format remains steadfast and true. The structure of this year’s conference includes 31 live concurrent sessions addressing professional development, wellness and safety, event design and business strategy and recovery. Each session is designed to engage, inspire and jumpstart your plans and aspirations.

From the opening and closing night celebrations to networking luncheons, the President’s Dinner and the MPI Foundation’s Rendezvous, we have made networking and building connections possible, fun and safe.

Thank you for being a part of the MPI community—and a part of the solution—at WEC Grapevine. Now together, let’s learn, explore and enjoy our time here in Grapevine, Texas, while being mindful of the safety and wellness of all attendees!
