MPI will be providing attendees with high-caliber education throughout IMEX America, including opportunities to earn three certificates from the MPI Academy and attend various educational sessions during Smart Monday and at the MPI booth, offering a total of 12.25 clock hours.


Monday
Smart Monday, powered by MPI, features the theme “What If…” and focuses on the dual roles of imagination and inclusion. The program hosts 18 sessions covering topics such as diversity, meeting and event contract disputes, marketing, budgeting, leadership, international events and incentives.

Among the programs on Smart Monday will be two certificate programs: Crisis Communications, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., and Event Marketing, 1-5 p.m.


Tuesday
The day will be filled with more education sessions at the MPI Booth to include a Power Chat on inclusion, a Meetings Outlook program, an event trends discussion and a meetup for international planners.

Wednesday
A second Power Chat will focus on imagination in events. Additional MPI booth education will feature topics such as future-ready skills, administration, independent businesses and best practices for a sticky learning experience, as well as a meetup for administrative professionals.

Thursday
Jessie States, director of the MPI Academy, will feature the experiential keynote “Five Funky Icebreakers: Your IMEX America Un-Keynote Experience” at the MPI Booth. Additional booth education will feature topics on understanding the strategic purpose of your events, five keys to cultivating strong partner relationships, a third Power Chat on sustainability and three meetups for healthcare planners, financial and insurance planners and women in events.
