DALLAS, December 2, 2021 —Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is pleased to announce the approved slate for the 2022 MPI International Board of Directors.

The International Board of Directors is the governing body of MPI, with responsibility for developing the organization's vision, mission and strategic plans, and ensuring long-term financial sustainability and organizational performance. 

“On behalf of the Board Development Committee, we want to express gratitude for the overwhelming number of qualified candidates who expressed a desire to serve in the important work of the International Board of Directors.” said Steve O’Malley, Immediate Past Chair. “It made for a very difficult task to select this slate, but we are confident that these additions to our already incredibly strong Board will serve MPI’s strategic needs well into the future.”

“The work of our Board is vital to the continued growth of MPI.” said Paul Van Deventer, president and CEO of MPI. “I’m grateful for the talented group of individuals who have stepped up as volunteer leaders to carry forward MPI’s vision of leading and empowering the meeting and event community to change the world.”

Board members will take office effective January 1, 2022, for the term from January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022.
