Dallas, Texas, April 22, 2021 – Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the world's largest industry association for meeting and event professionals, announced recently that Christine Cashen and Tami Evans will serve as emcees during the association's upcoming North American signature event, the World Education Congress (WEC) Vegas, taking place June 15-17, 2021 at CAESARS FORUM.
Together, Cashen and Evans have a combined forty years of speaking experience and over 1,000 events in their portfolio. They have backgrounds in theater, performance and broadcasting as well as leadership.
“EmceeSquared is the perfect duo to host WEC this year, as we celebrate our industry’s reopening and Make our Future. They have perfect balance of comedy and personal knowledge of our industry that will help them uniquely connect with our audience. We are excited to see the fun, creative, and collaborative engagement they will bring to our event,” said Annette Gregg, Senior VP of Experience for MPI.
This is the first year that MPI’s WEC event will feature two emcees. They will engage both in-person and digital attendees over the course of the event.
Cashen and Evans shared "Like everyone in the events industry, we have experienced a huge shift in the way we keynote and emcee events - but one thing remains the same whether it is in-the-real or on-the-line - Attendees NEED to learn, laugh, and connect! We will be providing ways for everyone participating in WEC, both in Vegas and Virtually, to do all of those things with their fellow meeting professionals!"
