There’s a new meeting and event venue in Oshkosh, and we are anxious for you to see it! The Menominee Nation Arena is Oshkosh’s newest premier concert and live engagement venue. It’s also the home of the Wisconsin Herd – an NBA G-League basketball team, the Wisconsin Glo – a professional women’s basketball team, and the Fox Cities Roller Derby team.
On October 10th, this new venue will host our chapter as Julie Swanson, owner of What's Possible Now presents The Power of Visuals for Events & Business. This session will demonstrate the variety of ways visuals can support events, education, facilitation, audience engagement, social media, event marketing as well as planning and negotiation.
Considering your CMP? Don't miss the CMP 101 program before lunch! This one hour session will be an overview of the CMP process and cover understanding the application process, learning the upcoming testing dates, review of the CMP-IS domains, skills and sub-skills, time management assistance, review of important websites and resources and learning test-taking tips.
The program will be followed by eye-opening property tours, as well as a fun reception with exciting raffle prizes.
After the program and reception, attendees are welcome to attend Oshkosh Into the Night! An performing art festival taking place at Opera House Square, just one block from the Best Western Premiere Waterfront Hotel. Food and beverage vendors as well as street performers!

This session will demonstrate the power of visuals in your events and business. This session will demonstrate the variety of ways visuals can support events. For many events, education is a major objective – visuals can aid in programme facilitation, audience engagement, as well as note-taking. This session will provide the learner with interactive instruction on how to start using visuals in your events. You will also learn how visuals can be incorporated into social media, event marketing as well as planning and negotiation.

Speaker Bios:
Julie Swanson, owner of What’s Possible Now, is a storypreneur and graphic facilitator. With more than 25 years of experience helping change leaders communicate better, she partners with organizations who want to level-up their ability to communicate intentionally and strategically. She has designed and facilitated educational programs focused on communications and systems change including: Story for Systems Change, Communication Power Tools, and The Power of Working Visually.
Julie's work experience includes Co-Director of the Wisconsin Clearinghouse for Prevention and Training Coordinator for the Cancer Information Service/National Cancer Institute; Minnesota Extension, and the United States Peace Corps in Western Samoa and the Cook Islands.
Stephanie Steigerwaldt is a visual practitioner who uses graphic engagement, facilitation and recording techniques to deepen engagement and learning at meetings, workshops and conferences. She spent the first 15+ years of
her career as a marketing and communications professional supporting clients in information technology, retail, nonprofits and small business alike.
Stephanie has trained with some of the global leaders in the visual field including Christina Merkley, Brandy Agerbeck, the bikablo akademie, Kelvy Bird and The Grove. Stephanie holds a Master's Certificate in Sustainability Leadership from Edgewood College,
