Hello everyone,

We are halfway through the year and have already accomplished so much! 

We started our fiscal year in July in a position of momentum and excitement, and we’re still going strong with much to accomplish in the next five months!

Your chapter is a multiple award-winning chapter!  As you know, in 2017, we took home the RISE Award in industry advocacy for our leadership and collaboration with 12 industry chapters on the Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID). In August of 2019, we crafted for a cause with SITE Texas to combat human trafficking. We are so pleased to have received ANOTHER award -- the Top Performing Chapter from MPI Global for our 2018-2019 performance!  Our chapter received this award for consistently delivering quality services to our members.  

Each year, we have goals and objectives that are measured by MPI Global.  We successfully met or exceeded our goals in member growth, volunteer engagement, net profit, membership satisfaction, leadership satisfaction and education content.  I’m happy to report that compared to this time last year, we are on pace to earn another Top Performing Chapter Award for our performance in 2019-2020! We thank you for choosing to commit your time and talent to MPI Texas Hill Country Chapter and look forward to celebrating with you soon!

Collaboration continues with Jingle & Mingle with five industry chapter organizations in December, Southwest Showcase with IAEE in January, GMID with 12 industry chapter organizations in April and an upcoming education session with HSMAI in May. 

TEC19 was held in San Antonio last November with some of our highest evaluation scores to date.  We had 1 ½ days of inspiration, thought-provoking education and many opportunities to network, followed by the Women in Leadership certificate program.  As you know, we have announced that TEC20 will be held in Austin on October 25 and 26. Registration and sponsorship packages will be opened soon with numerous and exciting options available from low-cost to premier sponsorships. 

We hope to see you at the brunch education session and volunteer fair at the Wyndham Riverwalk San Antonio on February 25.
