Hi there, MPI Texas Hill Country Chapter!  2019 is off to a great start, and if that is any indication, this year promises to be an amazing one for sure.

Thank you for your support of the chapter events. The chapter committees are working intently to provide you with strong education and unique networking opportunities for the remainder of this term. Thank you for your involvement. We have seen an increase in member involvement, and it is so rewarding to see so many of you engaged. You, the members, are the ones who make our chapter so successful.

MPI THCC finished the year strong with 320 members and a retention rate of 76%...AWESOME! This is a reflection of your commitment and the dedication of our committee members and board of directors to their mission of driving member engagement.

In January, the IAEE Central Texas Chapter and MPI THCC hosted the 2019 Southwest Showcase. 572 meeting professionals came together at the Palmer Events Center to meet face-to-face. THANK YOU to the Southwest Showcase steering committee for their hard work and commitment to the meeting industry.

On April 4, nine Texas meetings and events industry associations will come together to network and advocate for the meetings and events industry.  The education will cover how meetings drive business growth both globally and in the state of Texas, the value of hosting events and the long-term economic impact from meeting attendees. Last year, my hope was that you were inspired to be part of something bigger than yourself. This year, I encourage you to continue to put yourself out there, share your experiences and remain involved. We are here to help you CREATE...Connections, Opportunities and Inspiration. I am so grateful for MPI THCC, and it is an incredible honor to be able to give back to the industry I love being a part of.
