Happy holidays on behalf of MPI THCC Board of Directors!
What a ride this year has been….not always in the best way. Throughout this year, we have embraced the silver linings and refocused priorities during COVID in order to focus on the more positive things and strive to get back to meetings.
This year has allowed us to seek connections in new ways and relied heavily on much of the technology we have had but hadn’t used at this extent ever before! We may continue to be challenged in the hopes of getting back to business. 2020 will be a year we must never forget and will be in history books! I hope we will not only talk about the woes of COVID but a time in history that revealed to a worldwide community that the simplicity of human connections was cherished more than ever before!
Every year, as we approach the holiday season and the new year, we reflect and strive to be better! What’s your 2021 resolution? What do you strive for in the coming year? And, what may be easier to answer is, what does our industry long for?
My challenge for you is not to leave 2020 behind as the year of COVID but take these silver linings, what we have learned during 2020 and what we will never forget with us into the new year. Don’t forget the technology! Don’t forget the thousands of miles that didn’t stop us from connecting but sustain those new connections and bring them into the new type of meetings as we get back to business in 2021!
Wishing you, your family and friends happy holidays and new year!
