Making an Impact with our Diverse Voices United Starts with You!
MPI Texas Hill Country Chapter membership is more than a group from which we can receive education -- it’s an organization to which we can give back. MPI THCC is volunteer-led and driven. When I first joined our board of directors in 2017, I heard over and over how “you get even more out of MPI than what you put into it,” which is so accurate! This association, where I felt welcomed immediately and connected to fellow planners and supplier partners, became my home. And I hope you feel the same.
MPI THCC prides itself on bringing a Texan welcome to its members and visitors. We strive to be inclusive, gifting others with a colleague to turn to, new forever friendships and an organization where we develop as meeting professionals together. Through volunteerism and leadership, MPI THCC gifts others with experiences they may not receive elsewhere, empowers members with the ability to shape education and offers opportunities to grow beyond our current roles or job titles in the industry.
As I stated at the July town hall meeting, YOU are the reason why I am involved. Not to be the leader and lead ‘my year’ as the president. I dedicate this year to you. You are the ones who made me feel welcome and showed me how I belonged, and I have developed my skills beyond what I could ever comprehend. This year is OUR year! It is a year to challenge ourselves in this beyond-challenging time in our world. This is the year where we think out of the box, innovatively, together.
Please join the 2020-2021 MPI THCC Board of Directors in leading the future of your chapter. Volunteer in one or more committees, volunteer at the MPI Global level or submit an application to join the board next year. We hope you will join us in shaping our industry’s future.
Meaghan Rhame, CMP
2020-2021 MPI THCC President
