The 2018-2019 MPI THCC year is quickly approaching an end; with it, many exciting events are closing out the year, along with strategic planning, transition and recruitment to launch the 2019-2020 term successfully.

In March, we held the 2019-2020 Board of Directors transition meeting. Over the next couple of months, incoming and outgoing board members will work together to effectively transition on July 1. In early April, GMID 2019 was held at Fair Market in Austin, Texas. Twelve Texas meeting and events industry associations joined together to celebrate the meetings & events industry. Records exceeded expectations with more than 300 attendees, exceptional sponsorship support and a wealth of volunteers. HUGE KUDOS to co-chairs Jennifer Schlabach, Angela Feinstein and the entire GMID committee for their commitment to drive this collaborative event to success!
