MPI Tampa Bay Area Student Membership Scholarship Criteria

This scholarship fund supports student membership in Meeting Professionals International. The goal of this scholarship is:

• To provide students professional development and educational opportunities in the meetings and event industry.

•  Encourage student members to pursue careers in the meetings and events industry

Eligible recipients will receive a one-year student membership of the MPI Tampa Bay Area Chapter.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Applicants must be enrolled at least half-time at a recognized academic institution  

• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0

• Interested in pursuing a career in the meetings and events industry.

Application Requirements:

To be considered for the MPI Tampa Bay Area Student Membership Scholarship, applicants must:

• Complete the online application form (which includes a short essay)

• Volunteer on a committee for the duration of membership
