Awards Partner for our Annual Gala Awards for
Meeting Professionals International Rocky Mountain Chapter

Deadline for submission is August 19, 2024

Overview:

The MPI Rocky Mountain Chapter (MPIRMC) is seeking proposals for the creation and donation of awards and plaques for our upcoming Gala, scheduled for December 11, 2024. This prestigious event will host approximately 250 industry professionals, and we require the awards in hand by December 4, 2024. The selected sponsor(s) will be recognized as official sponsors of the gala, receiving prominent exposure and appreciation throughout the event.

Award and Plaque Requirements:

Awards: We require 13 unique awards with the following categories:

1. Planner of the Year
2. Supplier of the Year
3. Rising Star Award
4. Outstanding Committee Chair of the Year
5. Outstanding Committee Member of the Year
6. New Member of the Year
7. Student Member of the Year
8. Meeting and Hospitality Award of Excellence
9. Industry Partner of the Year
10. (3) President Awards of Excellence
11. Industry Legacy Award

Award Specifications:

• Upscale design, creative and visually appealing
• Engraving to include MPI logo, year, award name, and winner's name
• Size should be significant enough for visibility in photos

Plaques: We need 20 plaques to recognize our board members.

• Material and size are flexible
• Should symbolize collaboration and volunteer dedication
• Creativity in design is encouraged, with a theme that can incorporate stained glass to align with our kaleidoscope theme

Recognition and Benefits for Sponsors:

As a sponsor, you will receive:

• Recognition from the podium during the gala
• Listing on the MPI RMC website and social media channels
• Opportunity to contribute creative ideas for board member recognition

Creative Ideas:

We are open to innovative suggestions that align with our kaleidoscope theme and values of collaboration, education, and member empowerment. Previous concepts have included puzzle pieces, and we are excited to hear your creative solutions.

Budget Constraints:

We are a nonprofit organization and request these awards and plaques to be fully donated, including engraving costs.

Timeline:

• July 5-August 19, 2024: Solicit sponsors for awards
• August 30, 2024: Selection of vendor for awards
• September 9 - October 11, 2024: Award nominations open and promotion for nominees
• October 11, 2024: Deadline for nominations
• October 28 - November 8, 2024: Awards committee selects winners
• November 13, 2024: Order awards
• December 4, 2024: Awards in hand
• December 11, 2024: Gala event
