"All Things Conflict"
How to Manage Conflict of Interest,
Conflict Management,
and Get to Solutions Together
with Michelle Johnson
Event Description:
Conflict is often the driver of failed relationships both in business and our personal lives. No one ever really loves the thought of having a difficult conversation with someone they work with or better yet, someone they love. We often avoid the difficult conversation and just shuffle it under the rug and for the short term we are in a good place. That is until the next time it happens. By then the frustration level is higher and depending your personality, it can be a game changer for your relationship with the other person.
When it comes to conflict, equipping yourself with tools, conversation starters and being able to identify triggers can help you in all aspects of your life. Michelle will teach you how to recognize a situation is in front of you and share some tricks with you to help diffuse the moment so that a productive and engaging conversation can take place.
Using some of these techniques you will find a common ground for accountability, from an employee or boss to a volunteer or friend. Learn how to “love” conflict - well, at least learn how to face it head on and be able to manage it.
