Showcase Your Venue!

Eager to showcase your property or venue to Pittsburgh's esteemed event professionals? We invite you to submit a proposal to host an upcoming educational or networking event for MPI Pittsburgh Chapter!

This presents a tremendous opportunity to connect with our diverse membership, which spans corporate, university, and independent meeting professionals, as well as various suppliers. In our industry, success thrives on exposure, and by cultivating relationships with our members—be they planners or suppliers—you'll fortify your property or venue's presence, resulting in measurable business growth.

Education Events

Benefits of Hosting an Education Event:

  • Showcase your property/venue to an interested audience

  • Logo on event announcement that is posted on the Chapter's website and newsletter

  • Logo projected on screen at events

  • Two (2) complimentary registrations for the hosted event at your venue

  • An opportunity to speak with audience and conduct tours at the event

  • MPI Pittsburgh will share survey feedback from attendees regarding their satisfaction with your venue

Meeting Specifications

Education events are typically held on a Tuesday. Times and dates can be slightly flexible. 

Registration will begin approximately 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of each program. We ask that a registration table, two chairs and a waste basket are provided. If registration occurs before a lunch or reception, coffee/tea/decaf and water should be provided for participants as well..

Depending on the program, requirements for each meeting may be different. Meeting rooms should accommodate up to 50 individuals, and include the following gratis:

  • Food for 35-45 people including beverage refreshments throughout program

  • Standard A/V: Lectern, stage, wireless hand-held microphone and/or lavalier mic; LCD projector and screen or monitor with laptop connectivity; slide advancer; power, cables, Wi-Fi.

  • Appropriate meeting space, tables chairs, & linen

Room set-ups must be completed one hour prior to the start of the programs.

For Monthly Educational Programs, we request a complimentary sleeping room to accommodate the speaker(s), as needed. Note: Complimentary rooms are requested, but not required to be selected as a host venue.

Meal head counts/confirmations, AV requirements and any other special arrangements will be provided by a representative of the MPI Pittsburgh Events Team three business days prior to the event.

Networking Events

  • An opportunity to speak with audience and conduct tours at the event

  • MPI Pittsburgh will share survey feedback from attendees regarding their satisfaction with your venue

Meeting Specifications

Times and dates can be slightly flexible pending confirmation with VP of Events. 

Networking space should accommodate up to 50 individuals, and include the following gratis:

  • Food for 35-45 people including beverage refreshments throughout program. Complimentary or discounted bar service for our guests is preferred. 

  • Semi-private or private space for our group to network

  • If your venue/establishment offers some type of activity, one "round" should be offered complimentary to guests.

Meal head counts/confirmations, AV requirements and any other special arrangements will be provided by a representative of the MPI Pittsburgh Events Team three business days prior to the event.
