Eligibility Requirements
Must be a member in good standing.
Must be willing to dedicate the time, energy, and enthusiasm necessary to fulfill the role.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Prior Board experience is preferred for VP or Presidential roles.
General Responsibilities
Serve as a voting member of the Board of Directors.
Support and uphold the Chapter’s strategic goals, policies, and initiatives.
Coach and mentor assigned committees, ensuring their success.
Ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability within assigned areas.
Identify and recruit future leaders for the Chapter.
Participate in monthly Board meetings and leadership retreats.
Time Commitment
One-year term
Estimated 16-20 hours per month
Attendance at key events and leadership retreats:
2-Day Annual Board Retreat (September - November 2025)
1-Day Mid-Year Board Retreat (April - June 2025)
Monthly Board meetings, executive meetings (for VPs and Presidents), and committee meetings
Chapter events and programs
Transition meetings with successors
