Pre-approved programs organized by MPI Oklahoma will contain a CMP Preferred Provider logo. Following the program, names and email addresses of the MPI members in attendance will be submitted to the Events Industry Council (EIC, formerly Convention Industry Council) and automatically added to the member’s online profile. Members must have an online profile with the EIC and provide the correct email address for their hours to register. The member will then be notified and must login to claim their hours. For detailed instructions on how to claim your hours, click here. For more information about the CMP credential or CMP Preferred Provider Program, please visit www.eventscouncil.org or email MPI Oklahoma’s VP of Education.
(Note: This program is not endorsed, accredited, or affiliated with the Events Industry Council or the CMP Program. Educational content is determined and prepared by the meeting organizer. CMP applicants may receive CE credit for attending any program that meets eligibility requirements of the CMP Program. There are no specific individual courses required as part of the applications – selection of eligible education is up to the applicant based on his/her needs. If content is not pre-approved it must align with one of the CMP domains and applicant will be responsible for self reporting their CE credit.)
MPI provides clock hours for education sessions and some learning activities as an additional membership benefit. If you are applying or re-certifying for the CMP program, please know that the clock hour credit calculation is regulated by the Events Industry Council (formerly CIC). For more information on how to calculate your hours, please visit their site.
For webinars, you will need to manually add these credits to your EIC account.
