Certified Association Executive (CAE)
Developed by American Society of Association Executives & The Center for Association Leadership in 1960, the CAE is designed to elevate professional standards and designate association professionals who demonstrate the knowledge essential to the practice of association management. 

Certified Association Sales Executive (CASE)
Developed by Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) in 2000 and updated in 2011, for suppliers with association clients to elevate their relationship from vendor to partner. 

Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME)
Developed by Association of Destination Management Executives (ADME) in 1993, for senior executives and managers of destination marketing organizations.

Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM)
Developed by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events for exhibition industry professionals. 

Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP)
The Certified Government Meeting Professional designation (“CGMP”) is designed for planners and suppliers whose work is governed by the rules and regulations of the federal government. Individuals who have earned their CGMP have obtained the highest designation available that is specifically for government meeting professionals.

HSMAI Certifications
Certificates developed by Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) for professionals who have effectively demonstrated the credibility, knowledge, expertise and confidence in the hospitality industry. 

Certified Hospitality Sales Professional (CHSP)
Developed by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute for professionals with 50% or more duties and responsibilities involved in sales to individuals or groups. 

Certificate in Meeting Management (CMM)
Developed by Meeting Professionals International (MPI) for tenured and highly accomplished members of the global meeting industry community who seek career acceleration, advancement and professional recognition. 

Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
Developed by the Events Industry Council (EIC) in 1985 to recognize those who have achieved the industry’s highest level of professionalism. MPI is a proud supporter of the CMP program. 

Certified Meeting Professional – Healthcare Subspecialty (CMP-HC)
The CMP-HC is a certification program specifically developed for those working in the healthcare meeting industry. It is designed to identify those who have mastered the knowledge needed to be a successful healthcare meeting professional. This is a subspecialty of the CMP program; therefore only those who hold a current CMP certification are eligible to take this exam. If you pass the CMP-HC exam, your new designation will be CMP-HC. 

Certified Professional in Catering and Events (CPCE)
Developed by the National Association for Catering Executives (NACE), the CPCE’s goal is to establish a nationally recognized standard of competence in catering and to promote professional commitment to excellence in catering.

Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP)
Established in 1993 by the International Live Events Association (ILEA), the CSEP program was developed to increase the recognition of professional growth and identify professionals who have demonstrated proficiency in all components of the special events industry. 

Destination Management Certified Professional (DMCP®)
The Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) determined it is incumbent on those who are truly committed to higher standards of excellence to become certified. As the pre-eminent organization for Destination Management Executives, the mission is to increase the professionalism and effectiveness of destination management through member and industry education, establishment of standard ethical practices and raise the level of awareness of the value of destination management to the respective associations, corporations and general public.The DMCP is designed to create impetus for organizational self-improvement and to stimulate a general raising of standards.

Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate (HMCC)
Meeting Professionals International (MPI) has purchased the Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate (HMCC) program from the International Medical Meeting Professionals Association (IMMPA). Launched in 2013, the certificate program is accredited through Saint Louis University and teaches participants critical information on compliance regulations, laws and techniques for managing healthcare meetings.
