Winner of the 2017 MPI RISE Award for Educational Programming, CMP University is the dynamic way to prepare for the CMP examination. CMP U covers all domains and topics contained in the CMP International Standards (CMP-IS) within a university extension course format. With the generosity of our venue sponsor, SPUR, conveniently located in San Francisco within a few blocks of public transportation including BART, CMP U will be held on select Saturday mornings preceding the CMP examination periods offered in August 2019 and November 2019. This series of regular infusions of knowledge will better prepare you throughout the months leading up to the exam and help you stay on track with your studying.
Even if you do not plan on taking the CMP exam, attendance at CMP U is the perfect way to boost your professional power. The curriculum provides the knowledge and skills for continuing education in our industry (and can earn you necessary continuing education clock hours towards taking the CMP exam at a future date.)
If you have questions about CMP University, please read through the CMP U FAQ page. If you still have questions, please contact the CMP/CMM Committee Chairs, Allyson Gee, CMM, CMP or Noelle Boesenberg, CMP, CIS, CTE.
For more information about the CMP designation, exam dates, application deadlines and fees, please visit the Events Industry Council website.
Important Note about Registration: It is the attendee's responsibility to ensure that the email address used to register for CMP U is the same email address on your EIC account. After the final class, MPINCC will upload the CMP U attendee list to the EIC's website, which uses an email address matching system. You will then receive an email from the EIC prompting you to login to your EIC account and claim your hours for CMP U.
