Last month, I shared with you my message for resilience, gratitude, and hope as I reflected back on these past several months and looked forward to our future together.
The San Francisco Bay Area and our community are being impacted again, most recently by the fires happening in Wine Country and those that are happening all over the state. My heart and prayers continue to go out to those affected by these devastating fires.
And to our MPINCC community: you, your family, and those that you care most about are not alone. Please reach out to us if we can help in any way. We stand together, and in times like these we are tested once again on the resilience of our spirit, and the hope we have for a brighter future.
What we can do is to lean on each other. Let's continue to support each other during these difficult times.
In October, this month, our chapter begins our gratitude campaign. I think this journey is sometimes a difficult one—it may be hard to see and to understand this word 'gratitude' in the midst of so much uncertainty and challenges. I am hopeful, though, that each of us can find something that we can be grateful for, a moment to reflect on our lives, and the people we care most about.
Let's take this opportunity to support each other, our MPINCC community, and look forward to brighter days ahead.
With appreciation and gratitude,
Gary Murakami, GTP, GLP, CMP, CMM, DES
