FY2025 Business Plan Templates

There are new FY2025 Business Plan templates available for all Chapters to use via the CLRP > Compliance > December 1 Compliance. New for FY2025, Chapters will have the option to use the traditional MSWord version that has been available for the past 3-4 years or use a new MSExcel version.

The new MSExcel version provides a simpler way for Chapters to create their business plan and to navigate between departments via different tabs.

As part of the Chapters’ compliance requirements, only the FY2025 templates may be used by all Chapters and submitting Business Plans using older versions will not be accepted by MPI.

FY2025 Volunteer Chapter Leaders: Access to CLRP Granted

On September 1, all FY2025 Volunteer Chapter Leaders were granted access to the Chapter Leader Resource Page to help onboard them in preparation for Annual Retreats/Summits. MPI Foundation

It’s never too late to donate!

Hello Chapter Leaders,

We are really happy with the momentum we are creating in keeping the MPI Foundation top of mind at the chapter level. We know you are sharing the link to scholarships (see below) with your members and remembering that the MPI Foundation is here for you too.

The greatest gift we can give is to support each other not just in big ways but in small ways too. There is still time to add a chapter fundraiser into your programming before the end of this year. Not sure what you can do? Here are three SIMPLE and EASY campaign ideas that you might consider:

Hold a Raffle - source 3 to 5 locally donated items, sell tickets, draw for your winners, proceeds go to the MPI Foundation. à Who’s done this? MPI Ottawa - Awards Dinner - “Celebrating Chapter Gems” - Donation raised from this activity $650 CAD

Hold a 50-50 Draw - sell tickets, draw for your winner, split the total with the MPI Foundation. à Who’s done this?  MPI Greater New York - Golf Tournament - Donation raised from this activity $4,000 USD+

Centerpiece Bid - ask table guests to bid up from a minimum donation amount on the centerpiece, collect the cash in an envelope or have the winner pay at registration on the way out with their prize, total raised goes to the MPI Foundation. à Who’s done this?  How about your chapter?

Have you had an interesting campaign this year? We would love to hear about your creative ideas and your successes.

Remember, an MPI Foundation campaign does not need to be complex and the donation from your chapter does not need to be big to make a significant impact to someone who is applying for a scholarship or to someone who needs relief from their membership dues in trying times. Every donation matters when we are simply Members helping Members.

Special Committees

Every MPI Chapter can be the catalyst to harness the power of change in the fight against trafficking of persons

Human trafficking is the illegal practice of exploiting individuals through force, fraud, or coercion. Victims, who can be of any age or gender, are often subjected to labor, sexual exploitation, or other forms of abuse. Traffickers use manipulation, threats, or violence to control their victims, stripping them of their freedom and basic rights.

MPI Global and the MPI Anti-Human Trafficking Committee is committed to raising consciousness within the MPI Chapters and their communities.   Every Chapter has been tasked with educating our community annually, playing a crucial role in this battle through advocacy, education, and awareness. This essential effort has led to the successful hosting of over 17+ programs. Our Chapters are continuously seeking new and impactful ways to broaden awareness.

The Germany Club for example, developed a powerful program that had a significant impact across Europe. Their event featured two German Parliament Senators and a local advocate from an Anti-Human Trafficking association. The program was delivered in both German and English, demonstrating the Chapter's commitment to reaching a diverse audience. MPI members are pivotal in breaking the cycle of trafficking through heightened awareness and responsible sourcing.

CHAPTERS THAT HAVE HOSTED ANTI-HUMAN TRAFFICKING (AHT) PROGRAMS AND EVENTS:

Philadelphia Area | Pittsburgh | Potomac | New England | Chicago Area | New Jersey | New Mexico | North Florida | Northern California |Tennessee |Sacramento | San Diego | Wisconsin | Carolinas | Middle Pennsylvania | Virginia | Germany | Caribe Mexico | Michigan

Need assistance in planning the required AHT program for your chapter?

Email: Malinda Harrell, CMP Fellow, CASE, mharrell@visitraleigh.com, AHT Committee, Immediate Past Chair to be connected to AHT Ambassadors who will help with guidance and navigating resources.
