Within a year of her introduction to MPI Orange County Chapter, Pawntra became a chapter leader and then immediately following, chapter President. As a chapter leader, her mission was to create industry alliances as she fostered relationships within the chapter membership, across varying MPI chapters and with other associations. Pawntra spearheaded vital innovations in her leadership in 2020 and chapter fundraising activities; and has been a staunch advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion, launching a chapter-level DEI initiative, additional local programs and resources, and global involvement as part of MPI’s DEI Committee. She has been a vital support in developing the MPI Global DEI Committee’s first ever Resource Page and Regional Ambassador Program. Pawntra continues to lead with impact in new areas of volunteerism, most recently appointed as Chair of MPI’s Media Review Advisory Board.
