Our chapter would not be successful without the leadership and guidance of our committee chairs, board members and active volunteers. Being active in MPIWSC greatly enhances your membership and your career.
Being an active volunteer creates an opportunity to grow your network, make new friends and learn new skills. Volunteer roles range from tasks that take a few hours a month, like helping at an event, or a greater commitment such as organizing a program or fundraiser.
Do you want to build your resume and gain new leadership skills? You can be a Committee Chair. The Chairs are responsible for leading and managing one of the many committees that make MPIWSC click! Often, Committee Chairs take on roles different from their day-to-day jobs – to learn new, marketable skills. If you are interested in being a chapter volunteer or a Committee Chair, please contact the Volunteer Committee.
Committee Chairs are often recruited to serve a term on the MPIWSC Board of Directors. Board Members serve a 1 or 2 year term and help create the chapter’s goals and strategic plan to lead the organization forward. If you are interested in joining the Board of Directors please contact the Governance Committee or fill out the MPIWSC Board - Application 2024-2025.
