Join us for an enriching virtual DEI Lunch and Learn session celebrating Black History Month, a key component of the MPI Toronto and and speakers DE&I event series. This gathering aims to educate, inspire, and foster meaningful conversations about the importance of Black history and its impact on the meetings and events industry.

This interactive forum encourages active participation through discussion and Q&A, promoting a deeper understanding of Black history and its relevance in our professional context.

No prior preparation is required. The session will be led by our DE&I committee and guest and speakers.

In this session we will explore:

• The significance of Black History Month
• Organizing inclusive events
• Strengthening cultural awareness in the industry
• Integrating diversity into event planning
• Impact of representation in media and events
• Q&A with industry experts
