This forum is designed to encourage active learning through discussion/ questions/ dialogue in community as opposed to passive or solo consumption of resources.

Prior to the session, participants will be asked to watch a short video which will be discussed as a group during the event. The conversation will be led by the DE&I committee volunteers.

In this session we will discuss:

  • Hidden power dynamics and how this plays out in our meetings & events.
  • Uncovering the unseen
  • Why people disengage (at your events)
  • What to do as an ally
