The meeting and event industry is about bringing people together. Doing this in-person came to an abrupt halt as we faced unprecedented times this year. Canada is now ready to welcome guests back to hotels, restaurants, conference centres, convention centres, and resorts.
But, what does re-opening a venue look like during a pandemic? There is still insufficient testing, no contact tracing, and no vaccine against COVID-19. Best practices have not yet been established and every municipality has different guidelines. This leaves event professionals with more questions than answers.
