August 24, 2021 Education Meeting Recap

Back by popular demand, Deborah “Deb” Gardner - swimming champion, competitive performance expert and Certified Meeting Professional – served as the keynote speaker for the MPI St. Louis Chapter’s August 2021 Monthly Education Program! The event took place last week at the beautiful Hilton St. Louis Frontenac Hotel! Continuing to lead a new way forward in the hospitality industry, the group learned and challenged one another with an interactive and hands-on exercise using Deborah Gardner’s method, Streamline (a concept utilized in competitive swimming). With the premise of Step, Feedback and Response, participants partnered to share actual meeting, work and life experiences in order to create more effective solutions. In the end, the group shared their learnings so that we could all implement these techniques and keep “swimming” towards the finish line.
