This month we are spotlighting new member Chris Kuban. He was just awarded the new member grant from IMEX. Below is his bio –
Chris Kuban founded Chemistry PR and Multimedia as a St. Louis-based, full-service Public Relations, Video Production and Event Management firm in 2009 with the vision that brands require a formula of multiple messages in multiple media to create a solution for a successful return on investment...hence Chemistry!
Specializing in high-profile media events, his firm has worked with celebrities, national non-profits, professional sports teams, national political figures, and for-profit organizations in implementing their communication and event strategies on a national basis.
Highlights of Chris’ 25-year career in media relations include getting clients on “60 Minutes,” “Nightline,” “World News Tonight,” “NBC Nightly News,” “CBS Evening News,” “Fox National News,” CNN and hundreds of local and regional news outlets across the country. For 9 years up to COVID 19, Chris’ firm was the national spokesperson/event manager for the Gary Sinise Foundation, managing all the high-profile events surrounding smart home giveaways to severely injured veterans.
Recently, the video team at Chemistry PR and Multimedia started working with Logan University's Purser Center to create virtual video production for events on campus. And, because they’re working with more Event Planners, Chris thought it would be advantageous to join MPI. In 2018, Chris Kuban expanded his firm in purchasing a building at 1900 Wyoming, St. Louis, MO 63118 which has a full video studio, podcasting studio/recording studio and video editing suites.
On a personal note, Chris received his undergraduate degree in communications from University of Missouri-St. Louis and his master’s in media relations from Webster University. He’s married to Bethanie Kuban (formerly Bethanie Rivolta) who’s been a long-time MPI member.
Lastly, in 2020, Chris Kuban was the president of the St. Louis chapter of the Public Relations Society of America where he personally hosted over 30 webinars for their members’ professional development.
