New Member Spotlight - Kristine Gipperich

Please welcome Kristine Gipperich to MPI St. Louis. Kristine is an Executive Meetings Sales Manager at Explore St. Louis and is excited to join the St. Louis Chapter! 

Kristine is a Saint Louis Native growing up in Wildwood, MO. After graduating from college, Kristine received an opportunity to become an Event Coordinator and jump straight into the wedding & events industry. She fell in love with the happiness it brought to people by coordinating events that created unforgettable moments and a lifetime of valuable memories for them. 

Kristine wanted to also create these impactful moments for the corporate meetings and events industry and after 2.5 years as an Event Coordinator, Kristine jumped straight into a career in Sales at Explore St. Louis! She is now concentrating on association and corporate group meetings with 25-299 guest rooms on peak. This opportunity has allowed her to gain an immense amount of knowledge from the industry in just 6 short months!  

When asked what she enjoys most about her position, Kristine shared that she is “so fortunate to have an incredible job that allows me to be who I am and bring people to my hometown. It gives me pure happiness when I meet someone who has never been to St. Louis and it’s up to me to give them the absolute best experience, which is exactly what they will get.”

When asked what words of wisdom she has for others in the industry, Kristine replied, “Be the best version of yourself and don’t let anyone alter that.” 

Kristine enjoys spending her free time with her fiancé Marco and her fur baby Ralph or strolling through Lafayette Square surrounded by friends and family. You can also find Kristine rooting on the Eureka High Wildcats for her alumni’s football team or cooking her favorite meal-breakfast! 
 
Kristine has already become an active member in her first few months with the chapter and immediately sought an opportunity to become further involved. She has recently joined the Membership Committee as the New Member Events Chair and is looking forward to meeting many new professionals! Kristine feels the most beneficial part of being involved with MPI St. Louis is being able to connect with professionals that share similar passions and interest.This is empowering to her and believes this will lead to a bettering community.
