October 18, 2017 Meeting Recap

The October education meeting was something to write home about. If you missed it, you missed a good one!

First, we would like to say thank you to Logic Systems for hosting our members at their facility and to their staff for the amazing hands on education. AV is a pain point for a lot of planners and this was a chance for them to see the inner workings of the third party AV provider. Logic was able to give insight on certain things they do in specific situations and why they do them. This spoke not only to the planners, but the DMC and hotel suppliers as well. Attendees were able to sit in on mini sessions on sound, lighting, and stage visuals. The Decorum tour gave us an understanding on event design and custom furniture fabrication. The group also toured Logic’s warehouse of current inventory. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered every question we threw at them. One thing that stood out above the rest was the futuristic hologram display. Be on the lookout for this type of technology at the next meeting you attend or host.

We also want to make sure to give special thanks to Moulin Events and Catering for the delicious spread and libations they provided, paired with the decorations and the musical instruments on display in the warehouse.

Both Logic Systems and Moulin created a great atmosphere to boast an amazing education session this past month!
