11:00pm – Registration, Networking and Member Orientation
11:30am – 1:30pm – Announcements and Program
“Where’s My Staff? A Hospitality Industry Labor Symposium.”
This Education opportunity will bring together six industry leaders, all of whom play a key role in the hospitality ecosystem and have been directly impacted by the current labor challenges. Panelists include a Professional Meeting Planner, a Hotel Sales Manager, an employment recruiter who specializes in hospitality job placement, a VP from an area tourism council, and the owner of a large catering business. The desired outcome of the event is to provide planners and suppliers with valuable insights and strategies for navigating their respective business relationships with an open and candid understanding of how labor shortages, employee retention, service delivery, and the evolution of expectations are driving the way business is now being done. A moderator will be seeking responses and interplay by the panelists on questions pre-submitted by registered guests. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to ask ad hoc questions from the floor as well.
