Join us for an interactive session that will help attendees understand the many dark parts of human trafficking and how we as an industry are helping to fight these unbelievable crimes against people that can’t fight back.

Learning Objectives

  1. Review the scope of the problem within Colorado, the US and Globally. We will share data that helps to understand the seriousness of modern slavery to our world
  2. What are the different types of trafficking? Which ones are prevalent within the travel and meetings industry?
  3. How can a hotel or supplier get involved with the fight? Which organizations are doing the most to create awareness and tools to aid in the fight?
  4. Get an overview of the depth of discussions and actions that go into today’s social work career path that are specific to human trafficking?
  5. Tips on how to spot situations in your daily life that may involve victims of trafficking
