MPI PHL CARES: Let’s Drive Hunger from Our Communities

Over 700,000 people face food insecurity in our area, 30% of whom are children and 16% of whom are seniors!

Philabundance is the Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organization, acquiring, rescuing and distributing food to 90,000 people weekly in 9 counties in PA and NJ. Philabundance and its member agencies distributed 26 million pounds of food last year!

With the evolving crisis surrounding COVID-19, thousands in our community are struggling financially. Lost work hours and school closings are significantly increasing the number of people in need.  But when you give to Philabundance, you increase our neighbors’ access to food through their network of partner agencies the Philadelphia area.  With their resources Philabundance is able to turn just $1 into 2 meals to help feed those in need.
