The Meeting Professionals International-Oregon Chapter is an affiliate of the world’s most powerful meetings industry association, Meeting Professionals International (MPI).

• MPI has over 16,000 members with 59 chapters across the world. 
• This professional statewide organization is made up of meeting planners and suppliers with over150 members. 
• The meetings and hospitality industry has a $6.2 Million impact on the state of Oregon’s economy. 

One of the important products the chapter offers to members is scholarships for furthering their careers in the meetings and hospitality industry. Many companies are no longer able to afford the additional expense of professional development for their employees. In an effort to offset this economic burden, it is the goal of MPI Oregon to raise enough money to offer exceptional education to our members, to help advance them in their careers.

In order to accomplish this goal, the MPI Fundraising Committee will hold an auction fundraising event during the MPI Oregon Annual Awards Gala on Friday, August 2, 2024. We are relying on the August Auction event to get us to our goal of $10,000.
