Education Department
The Education Committee is responsible for all educational content for the Chapter. Committee members produce and manage all the cutting-edge educational programs, including the Award-Winner MEETS Conference. Responsibilities include procuring venues, guest speakers, and topics, and coordinating all the program logistics and activities designed for the benefit of our memberships' continuing education.
Membership Department
The Membership Committee is responsible for member recruitment and member retention. Responsibilities include monthly contact with new and long-term members to discuss and help members master their membership, as well as outreach to potential members to help grow the chapter. The committee communicates any issues/concerns to the leadership of the New Jersey Chapter and interfaces with MPI supporting any new initiatives and goals.
The committee is also responsible for planning several Meet-Up/ Networking events where they produce and manage these events including procuring venue, entertainment, and coordinate all event logistics.
Communications Department
The Communications Committee is responsible for all communications distributed to the chapter membership. These communications include the monthly newsletter, monthly events email, OnSite Online Blog, Member Spotlight, Social Media, and any necessary membership-related emails. Committee members are responsible for assisting with content and have input into the layout and editing of publications.
The committee also works closely with other departments on a marketing plan for the Chapter's signature events and special projects to help drive attendance at chapter programs.
Special Events Department
Golf Committee
The Golf Committee is responsible for the execution and coordination of the Chapter’s Annual Signature Golf Event. The Annual Golf Event is the Chapter’s largest fundraiser and responsibilities include soliciting sponsors, tracking registrations, soliciting and tracking donations for the raffle, logistics planning, raffle ticket sales, and on-site assistance the night before and day of the event.
Fundraising Committee
The Fundraising Committee is responsible for the execution and coordination of the Chapter's Virtual Silent Auction. The committee's responsibilities include soliciting and tracking donations and coordination with the online platform.
The committee is also tasked with generating new fundraising ideas that the chapter may implement to generate additional funds for the chapter.
Leadership Department
Governance & Nominations Committee
The Governance & Nominations Committee is responsible for working with the Immediate Past President to identify future Chapter Leaders for the following term within the nomination process parameters outlined in the Chapter Bylaws and Policy Manual. The committee is tasked with sending out a call to nominations, reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, and build a Board Slate to be presented to the Board of Directors and its members. Another important role of the committee is to review the Chapter Bylaws and Policy Manual to make suggested updates to the Board of Directors.
CMP/CMM Recognition Event Committee
The CMP/CMM Recognition Event Committee is responsible for the execution and coordination of this Annual Signature Event. Responsibilities include procuring a venue, guest speaker, and topic, and coordinating all the program logistics and activities designed for the benefit of our designees.
Micro-Volunteering
The MPI New Jersey Chapter offers micro-volunteering for those who seek a low-commit way to serve the chapter. Responsibilities may include tasks such as member outreach, on-site assistance at programs, vendor procurement, or community outreach.
